Hello dear ones,

I purchased an apartment on the 2nd floor/upper floor this summer, and we have been living here since mid-August.
Despite enthusiasm for the old kitchen and bathroom, both have to go – the countertop is too low at 82 cm due to the large, low window, there is no dishwasher, no induction stove, the bathroom vanity is too low, and overall everything is very worn. The toilet is very small – I see the possibility here to move the bathtub under the window, put the toilet in the bathroom, and at the same time gain a storage room where a washing machine can fit. The boiler could possibly be moved to the attic.
There is another 15sqm room with garden access in the basement, which currently serves as a laundry and storage room.

Basically, I would like a small seating area in the kitchen, but I think it will already be difficult to furnish the kitchen with the apparently difficult dimensions.
So far, I have only been to the Ikea "kitchen studio," where they pointed out the problematic floor plan to me.
I want a cozy, possibly also nicely mismatched but sensible country-style kitchen. An additional china cabinet is located in the dining-living room.

The room marked as "living room" on the plan is the bedroom, next to it is the dining-living room, "Kab." is the children's room. This layout should remain as it is. On the wall on the left side of the plan opposite the toilet door is a narrow built-in closet. There actually is no balcony.

Please help, I appreciate any ideas about how the kitchen/bathroom/toilet could be designed differently.

Requirements of the builders
Number of people, age: 2, 29 and 3
Office: Family use or home office? Home office
Overnight guests per year 2?
Number of dining seats 4, max 6

Best regards

Draw the inflows and outflows. I would consider the squares between the sink and the toilet to represent drain pipe boxes. The 7 cm walls are probably not even load-bearing and can at least be offset. The 25 cm walls and the opening dimensions also indicate a construction from before the 1960s.
