So we have the same combination as you want (open rooms, controlled residential ventilation outlet not on the floor but in the walls) .... We are doing great with it .... However, someone made a plan for us (either a planner from Zehnder or from Erlus, I don't remember) and in all rooms the supply air is hidden in one of the interior walls ... on your picture I would therefore put it in the interior wall next to the drawn table ....

I agree because more of the room volume circulates there. Directly next to the door will have the effect that the supply air is immediately sucked out again through the door (unless your window is open) without the rest of the room benefiting from the supply air.
