Construction waste during house installation - What accumulates there? Mix it yourself?

I would estimate one container. There are plastic films and some plastic parts (e.g., spacers, etc.), then all kinds of wood (also as transport protection, etc.). Then plastic cartridges of some sealing materials, film remnants from walls, cardboard, etc. Conclusion: Essentially, these are plastics, wood, and possibly cardboard. I do not see any construction debris here.

This is called mixed construction waste. For this, the waste disposer you trust the least charges a price per ton, or here with us a flat rate of €12 if you stay under (I believe) 200kg.

Just as a reference for our prefabricated house: 1 container with 10cbm was filled by the prefabricated house builder (until the screed was completed). After that, I had tons of yellow bags, tons of bundled cardboard, and 3 trailer loads (about 1 ton) of mixed construction waste from the remaining expansion. We did a lot ourselves, so I didn’t have a container anymore. One trip to the landfill regularly cost me half a Saturday. Mainly because of the long queue of private deliveries....

You can’t save that much, you’re constantly hauling garbage (and still pay the landfill fees anyway). Have several companies offer you a container and take the cheapest. You can forget about pre-sorting everything. Only the outer packaging of laminate/parquet/cabinets/sinks & co can be separated somewhat reasonably.

I also don't think driving yourself is a good idea.
What might be smart, however, is to have 2-3 containers placed.
800€ is the price for a container with mixed construction waste, i.e. residual waste.
If you get a container for recyclables (plastic / metal), one for clean construction debris (i.e. RC material), and one for the rest, it should be cheaper. They can pile the wood up for you; you might be able to drive that away yourself.
The residual waste bin often costs over 100€ per ton, the RC material somewhere between 10-20€.
You just need space for 3 containers.
They need to separate it directly; sorting the stuff out of the container afterwards is nearly impossible.

I don’t think the craftsmen will stick to that. But maybe they have to be trained first.

Well, that should be practiced on all larger construction sites, otherwise immense costs will be incurred. Alternatively, in a case like this, it could be agreed that they dispose of their own waste for an appropriate surcharge.
