Hello, I have a question about the construction road and one about the pipe laying.
Since construction is planned on a rear property of mine, I have to create the construction road on my right of way (3m wide). During the construction phase, the owner of the front property kindly provides me with 4m. So I will create the construction road for the construction vehicles up to 40t on this.
Is the following concrete recycling in 30cm thickness sufficient for this? RC subbase 0-45, B2 (150MN/m²)
I am attaching an excerpt of the soil report. Of course, I would remove the 30cm of topsoil. The question is whether the existing sand as a lower base layer under the recycling is sufficient?
The further question:
I think it makes the most sense, of course, to lay the pipes or empty conduits (drinking water, sewage, electricity, telecom, and 1-2 empty conduits or corrugated pipes for me privately) in the ground before creating the construction road, right? So that I can directly use the construction road as a substructure for my later path.
I also have to create a sewage shaft and a shaft for the water meter.
I would cautiously install the two shafts only after the heavy vehicles have driven over them, or could they be installed right away? That way I would only have to dig up the path spot by spot where the shafts should go and would not have to tear up the entire construction road again for pipe laying.
Or is that generally not recommended?
The pipe routing is marked on the attached site plan.
They are planned not to lie directly under the driving lanes.
Where would you put the electricity and telecom lines?
For drinking water or the water meter, I would use a telescopic shaft from EWE or Plasson.
Are there such shafts for sewage as well, or are the large concrete shafts used as standard?
The sewage shaft should be as close as possible to the street, i.e., 1.5m from the street.
The drinking water shaft does not matter, as I can also lay empty conduits for the connection here.
Can I then use the construction road in 30cm thickness as a substructure without problems, or will it wear out too much? It is clear that I will have to open the sides later to set the curbstones. Moreover, I will have to reduce the width from 4m back to 3m for the right of way anyway.
Since I do not yet know exactly how high my actual driveway will be later, I would initially leave the construction road 10cm below street level so that I can later bring it to the same level with gravel and paving. If necessary, I can refill with recycling again and then have, for example, 33-34cm base layer instead of 30cm. Right?
I think that is better than finishing it and having to remove it, since otherwise only 20-25cm of the base layer would remain after removal, which is too little later, right?
I can later also easily shorten or extend the shafts by centimeters to the final paving height, right?
Thank you very much
