So, we've now completed the final selection.
In advance, these mile-long catalogs of extras are quite interesting, but we followed the motto:
Distinguish between what one needs and what one wants.
That made life much easier for us, we took another close look at the show house, it was almost perfect as it was. We treated ourselves to things like a daylight bathroom, underfloor heating, electric shutters, and for Dad a three-phase connection for the carport, in case an electric car (wallbox) is needed someday.
Added a few more sockets and a bit of gadgetry, but all still within reason.
Trades like flooring and wallpapering/painting will be outsourced, the developer is very expensive there.
I already have offers from companies, the whole thing will be about 30-40% cheaper, that's the money for my underfloor heating.
All in all, I could understand that it can drive one crazy, these constant changes, etc., it was really stressful.
