I see things differently when it comes to builder's liability insurance. That is quite urgent. But please check whether your personal liability insurance possibly already covers this. With comprehensive policies, this can definitely be included for your own home.
Unfortunately, my current liability insurance only covers up to €100,000. I found a nice liability insurance in comparison that covers up to €500,000. Unfortunately, the company tells me that it is forbidden to have two liability insurances at the same time. The policy of my current liability insurance is still valid until next year.
Very unfortunate, because the new liability insurance would cost less than half of the builder's liability insurance... I will take out a policy online today, which will then be valid from tomorrow.
By that I mean, your rights and obligations as a builder.
You will still be held liable as a builder often enough, which you apparently will not expect.
You're just rubbing salt into the open wound :P
It could certainly be more optimal, that is true
