Hello,
I am planning to start building my single-family house next year and wanted to apply for the natural gas connection soon.
Now, it is such that I am planning a double carport next to my HAR, where the pipeline outlet is located. After consulting with the network company, it is not preferred that pipelines be built over (not only gas, but also others).
What are your experiences with this issue? I have only just heard about it; my architect didn’t tell me anything about it. The pipelines can only exit the house at the spot where the carport is supposed to be. I am now considering making 2 parking spaces one behind the other instead of side by side to keep the pipeline clear, or is that not sensible? In case of a malfunction, the interlocking pavement would have to be torn up at my expense.
I have attached a sketch of the pipeline route and the carport location.
Thanks in advance for your help!
