Encouragement from us: 10k
That was the budget and we stuck to it. The goal was no additional financing. And since the rock was already there when digging, not much of the buffer remained. Nevertheless, the house is as we wanted it.
Be clear in advance about what you want and what you value. Today, you can also live without KNX if the heating is coupled with controlled residential ventilation. The structure is important; you can always replace a washbasin.

So the selection is in 3 weeks, then I can tell you more. And I'm sorry, it was a false statement from me regarding KFW40. It is also a KFW 55 house. Sorry.

When did you dig out and what did it cost approximately?

We excavated in the first week of March last year. Costs were approximately €20,000 including landfill and surcharge for BK7

Do you still remember how much surcharge you had to pay for BK7?

We will be annoyed by rock as well :/

The offer was around €6,000 However, it was less than assumed, now it was around €2,200 including VAT. I don't remember the surcharge per cubic meter of rock off the top of my head anymore.

Wow, you were lucky! Hopefully, with our planned buffer of €8,000 for the surcharge, we're being quite realistic. Now we just have to wait for the soil survey.
