Actually, I find this quite easy to distinguish as long as no false information is inserted.

Therefore, I always consider it advisable to choose insurance based on price/performance since the likelihood of a claim is rather low. That means the core service of the insurance is to collect premiums during the customer's lifetime and bear their risk.

with this method, the insurance can at least not wriggle out. furthermore, both insurances go hand in hand, as both are often needed at the same time. I can only recommend HilfeHilfe’s tip as well. in case of water damage (which usually gets very expensive very quickly), a proper insurance also sends an assessor. they will also say that you should start drying quickly and who you could, for example, hire to do it. all invoices, costs, and so on then go to the assessor, who settles the whole mess. at the beginning of the year we had an aquarium crack and less than 24 hours later an assessor + drying equipment were on site. laying the new flooring took a while, but wasn’t a big problem either.
