Connection costs for already developed land

Good evening,

if I build another house on a plot that already has a house on it, am I allowed to branch off electricity, water, wastewater, etc. from the existing lines somehow, or do I have to go (the long way from my place) down to the street and have the provider lay the lines to the new house from there?

Am I allowed to lay these lines on the property myself, or do (EON etc. and the municipality only do it themselves (for a fee) which is quite expensive?

As so often... it depends.

Both on what the respective provider wants, and also on what you want.

An example of how it was for us. A new building next to an existing house on one plot.

The water supplier says:
Only one fresh water connection with one meter per plot. No more. What you do behind that and how you bill is your business.

The electricity supplier says:
Only one house connection per plot, with sub-distribution (forwarding) to the new house on the construction side possible, we will install the new meter. Unless the house gets its own house number, then a second house connection is possible on request.

The wastewater company says:
No problem, just connect to the existing wastewater pipe yourself.

Cable TV and telephone:
As you wish. Either a new house connection by us at the usual cost, or sub-distribution from the existing connection is possible.

So ultimately you will only find out by asking the responsible providers.
