Connect basement rooms to the central ventilation system?

Initial situation:
New construction KFW 55
Two full floors (152 m2)
m2 basement currently not available.
Basement construction in WU concrete will be a utility basement, no living spaces.
The basement is an open basement, meaning no door between ground floor and basement. The insulated building envelope extends from the upper floor ceiling to the basement floor. So the basement is included within the insulated building envelope.

A central ventilation system is to be installed. The unit will be installed in the basement.
Now the question arises whether the basement rooms should be connected to the ventilation system or not.

Does anyone have suggestions about this? How do others handle this? What are the arguments for and against integration? How must basement rooms be ventilated?
It is somewhat cheaper to leave the basement out. But otherwise, we have no ideas. Maybe someone can make the decision easier for us.

Thank you.

I would include the basement in the ventilation system. Exactly how depends on the planned use (each related to the specific room). What does the ventilation engineer say about it?

Hello,

Of course basement rooms need to be ventilated, especially those... If you are installing ventilation anyway, the additional costs are negligible. On the contrary. If you install ventilation, you may even be able to do without basement windows and save money overall.

But how am I supposed to imagine "No door between the ground floor and the basement"? The ventilation units do produce some noise, just like heating, washing machine, dryer, etc. And then no door?????

Best regards,

Andreas

Interesting idea. But it might lead to higher costs for building drying, because then dehumidifiers and/or fans would probably be necessary, right?

A basement is not just one large room. I think he rather meant no door to the stairway, but certainly one, for example, to the heating room, etc.

...whoever is thinking about the ventilation in the basement...can also just throw in a few underfloor heating pipes at the same time....doesn't cost much more either.

Hello, we did it this way but only two rooms, draft in the heating room and exhaust air in the utility room. Additional costs approx. 150-200€ for some [Wickelfalzrohr] and two ventilation valves. Works and helps with drying laundry. Between the two rooms I had an overflow opening installed. The entire basement has very low humidity.
