In my opinion, the damage can be repaired quickly. It is only a matter of money. However, the suffering for those affected remains.

The damage will not be repaired that quickly either. Roads, pipelines (gas, water, electricity, telephone, etc.), bridges, soil, etc. are missing. In some cases, it may no longer be possible to build there and it should not be done either.

Since the infrastructure was so massively damaged and towns are virtually cut off, nothing will be cleaned up quickly there.

The bad thing is also that there are currently no capacities in construction to just quickly rebuild entire regions. Especially with the shortage of building materials on top of that. This is really the worst case to the power of 3.

I can't imagine that at all! The roads are collapsing, cliffs and eroded soil everywhere... Now it's happening in southern Germany. People's livelihoods are being washed away. We have the best summer and holiday/leisure weather here... :(
