Hello everyone,
in winter, we unfortunately have to notice at our front door that there is often condensation on the frame on the hinge side (not just in one spot but actually with several interruptions along the entire height of the door). Sometimes so much that when closed it runs down inside the door frame and always leaves a small wet spot visible on the stone in front of the door. Or there is just a small puddle on the door sill.
Is this normal due to the well-insulated doors nowadays? It is also normal that condensation forms at the bottom inside the window. But well, here it could be an air-tightness problem to the outside, through which the water (naturally in the form of humidity) can get into the door frame?
Thank you and greetings from BaWü :)
