At least this problem should be solvable with quite simple data recovery methods.

Unfortunately, I cannot provide a legal or professionally reliable answer as I am a layperson in this matter. Rhombus cladding is the facade?

Yes. If one is so naive as to believe that the site manager would have even the slightest interest in that. The photos were not deleted without reason...

That is why one should always take their own photos and not rely on others...

Aha, Inspector Know-It-All is back on board with his characteristically friendly comments. ...and I thought he had once again fallen asleep in front of the TV watching Biene Maja or some Danish western You should have asked him before the construction, then you could now be sitting worry-free in a deck chair; such a cardinal mistake. Moreover, , the fact is that he accepted a paid assignment for you and if it were heading toward a lawsuit, I would have already informed him in advance and in writing to keep this data carrier (with data from your house) ready so it could be restored. Explicitly pointing this out and then destroying it anyway is by no means lawful and has a different nature than if he could later say "they never asked me." Contrary to the opinion of our always loud contributor here, it is not (as with him) about the "belief" or the "interest" of the site manager, but also about his duties, which are recorded in various regulations. I’m not saying this would be easy or necessarily successful, but if you don’t pursue such leads, which would be simple to do by sending a demand by registered mail, then you might as well throw in the towel and end the thread plus the trouble. Then you were just stupid or naive again and should have known better and should have asked the know-it-all beforehand (who supposedly has built a little house himself, so he is a very proud holder of the house-building seahorse badge), whose credibility can already be gauged after reading a few of his usually cheeky passages. Read all the advice from the people and then you will find your way, how it turns out no one, wait... I forgot..., hardly anyone can predict.

This does not personally affect me, but what do you think it feels like for a thread creator when they already know they have made mistakes and oversights and are now full of worry and come out here in the forum seeking help, only to experience mockery through comments like "so naive" or "you should have done better and not relied on others."
If that alone would be enough to ensure a problem-free construction, this forum would hardly be needed.

Such mockery also causes people to no longer show themselves openly here, which I can understand. I have (so far) been lucky here in the forum that there was an open, helpful interaction, critical but never mocking, which I consider the cheapest kind of communication because it is completely destructive and hurtful.
I would wish for moderation here that nips such things in the bud, as I know from other topic forums where people consistently treat each other well. This forum has become very quiet.........no wonder....
To mock someone who is already damaged shows little class, it is just silly, but you yourself are responsible for this judgment.
You yourself and I would not want it, maybe that’s why you never show pictures of your projects........the fear of boomerangs...

So much text, only to finally admit: "Yes, you can't get the pictures, unfortunately, tough luck..." PS: Was alcohol involved? You almost have to suspect it with so much nonsense. Maybe in the future you'd rather watch Biene Maja?
