Hello

There are several options for pouring a concrete floor.
The question now is whether on the walls, or between the walls, or half and half
see attachment

Has anyone had experience which of the three options (A, B, C) from the attachment would be advisable?

Hello,

where - in Cape Town? By the way - what are the current lighting conditions?

Otherwise, I don't really understand your comment - whether on the walls or between the walls or half and half. Do you want to pour a floor or walls?

Rhenish greetings

We are now bringing the walls up from the floor and it is common here to first build the walls up and then pour the floor "between" the walls. However, it can also be practical to pour the concrete floor onto the rising walls because you then create a working platform and can nicely place the scaffolding on it.

The walls are currently at the level "below" the floor, so now the decision must be made whether to continue or stop and pour the concrete floor on top first?

Good evening,

I wanted to make sure that you actually meant Cape Town - the city of light for photographers - as the construction site.

I wonder how you manage to place the ceiling above the ground floor with your system? The "prepared" floor already looks adventurous to me ;)

Of course, you should first lay the floor slab and only then set the walls. That is 1. easier and 2. you have no problems with clean joints or weak points regarding the sealing against rising water - if you know anything about that either.

If and when you also have to deal with high groundwater levels - just asking out of curiosity - how do you handle it?

Rhenish greetings
