Hello everyone,
we have discussed a first proposal for the installation of the ventilation pipes for our central controlled residential ventilation system with the requested plumbing company.
The ventilation system is located in the utility room, and the air distributors are to be hung between two wooden beams on the ceiling. For the supply of the attic and the loft, the ventilation ducts are to be routed in the timber frame wall between the bathroom and the bedroom into the loft and from there distributed into the respective rooms.
We are now asking ourselves whether a total of 9 DN75 pipes (3x exhaust, 6x supply) will work without any problems in a timber frame wall (stud framework 10cm wide with 8cm wood fiber insulation) with OSB and gypsum board cladding on both sides... Our concern is that the wall could become very sound-transmitting without the necessary insulation and that the required soundproofing between the bathroom and the bedroom may no longer be ensured.
Are there any experiences with such pipe routing?
