complete financial advice

Hello,
we want to buy a house (developer) and are dealing with the financing question. We have the basic knowledge regarding the topic. But now we are facing the question of how to proceed:
Option A) Request at several banks and compare afterwards
Option B) We turn to a financial advisor (known roughly to us from previous financial matters and appearing credible). He would handle the matter. However, he told us that if he does this and we do not conclude through him, he would insist on a fee (which I can understand to some extent).

Where can I get the best, most sensible advice, which also includes funding topics (KFW)? Do banks do that or do I have to handle that myself?

The banks actually offer Kfw as standard in order to be competitive with the online financiers. I would recommend having some preliminary talks with different banks to familiarize yourself with the subject. If it is a simple financing. - We have had good experiences with an online financier.
