And the 7500 surcharge should only be for the Therm external wall? An upgrade to the fresh air heat technology should definitely be included. In the Kfw 40 variant it should work perfectly with that, with KFW 55 it would be unsettling for me. If you remove the heating technology, you will also miss the controlled residential ventilation, don’t forget that in the price comparison. can surely comment better on the variant with underfloor heating and basement, he is building that right now.

Hello,

that's true, with Weberhaus, KfW 55 is standard in the house. However, this only applies to houses on a slab foundation – with a basement, as far as I know, it's different.

The Wohnfühlwärmetechnik did not really convince us – it's basically just air heating.

We combined an air-to-water heat pump with a water-based underfloor heating system and added a central controlled residential ventilation.

With the experience we have had with Weberhaus so far (we are three weeks away from handover), I would not even consider outsourcing individual trades or even the basement.

Until today, everything has worked absolutely perfectly for us. Even the major deployment of the fire brigade on our construction site during Hurricane Gonzalo on October 21, 2014, did not manage to unsettle the Weberhaus team – on October 22, 2014, house assembly began almost as planned (with about a 3-hour delay) after storm damage to the scaffolding was repaired.

Our construction has gone so smoothly so far that we sometimes couldn’t believe it ourselves.

If you have any questions, just ask.

Regards,

Dirk

I would advise against this form and type of financing.... otherwise you will be in debt to the bank forever

I accept the offer with the questions.

What did this roughly cost you more and what kind of COP or performance value does the air-water heat pump have? After all, this will determine how much electricity I need to heat.

That's exactly what I want to hear, so far I lack experience with 30.
But are 25-30 years too much? In 15 years if we still owe €200,000 and pay it off with a rate of 1500 - 2000, it should be doable. Above all, my generation will surely have to work until 70 anyway.

Which form and type of financing would you prefer then?

Whether the original poster can live with the financing amount and the remaining debt after 15 years is one thing and his decision. But the original poster is only 30. What is so bad about paying off the house over 30 years? After all, this is a house and not a car, TV, or other consumer item.

According to Weberhaus and a heating engineer friend, we calculate about 25% energy from electricity and 75% from the air.

Unfortunately, I cannot tell you the additional costs compared to comfortable heating technology – we were focused on this heating technology from the beginning and did not even consider anything else.

Additionally, we have a photovoltaic system with 4.25 kWh on the roof, which over the year should cover our electricity demand for heating and normal living.

Dirk
