Hello hello,

our Viessmann Vitocal 200 has now been running for almost 5 weeks. The screed drying program is now finished and we have used 1270 kWh for it. But that’s just by the way.

Last Thursday, the local electricity provider and supplier showed up at our place and wanted to conclude contracts for household electricity and heating electricity. We didn’t sign anything because we told him that we first want to review the contracts. We saved comparing providers for home. In general, I have nothing against staying with the local providers, but the price is not right. Since currently the basic supply is running for both types of electricity, I don’t need to act immediately.

Now the question to you: who else has already switched the electricity provider for their heat pump and what price was agreed upon there!? My post is only about heating electricity and only those who have actually switched or have experience with it should respond.

Greetings and thanks

Martin

I have a heat pump tariff that is about 6C cheaper than the regular household electricity, with roughly the same annual fee.

Check whether heating power even makes sense. The basic fee often eats up the savings (at least in new buildings).

Yes, I save about €50 (at least last year with about 2000kWh electricity). However, I also have a separate meter for my heat pump/heating system and can therefore say exactly what I pay in total for heating/hot water and the heating pump.

Hello,

just take a look at the common portals and check the heat pump tariffs there. We experienced that there is hardly any difference. More could be gained with the regular electricity.

What do you pay as a basic fee for the second connection? You can also have a [Untermengenzähler] installed for yourself.
