Dear Ikea friends,
I already posted this as a reply in another thread, but I think it is interesting for everyone:
We also discovered while planning the furnishing for our new house that IKEA prices vary extremely in neighboring countries. Since there was no convenient way to compare these prices so far (without having to visit each country’s website individually), we created one:
At koettbilligar you can very easily find the best price in Europe by entering your article number.
At the moment not all items are available yet, which is because the site has only been running for three days, and there are actually items that have different article numbers in different countries. Also, not every IKEA product is available in every country.
Soon we will also publish very insightful Top 100 lists for the products with the greatest saving potential.
Our conclusion: A trip to the Czech Republic or Poland is definitely worth it. An interesting side note: beer glasses are 85% cheaper in Great Britain than in Germany.
Many greetings,
Alex
P.S. to the admin: I hope this is not misunderstood as unwanted advertising. Our intention is to allow customers to benefit from the globalization strategy of large corporations – and our website is meant to help all IKEA fans with that.
