I was told upon inquiry that the electricity meter must be calibrated and provided directly by the energy supplier. An intermediate meter could be "manipulated." I’m currently trying to find the passage at BAFA mentioning the meter. As I said, I actually wanted to save the second meter (basic fee, etc.) but my cost comparison is not yet finished.

That would interest me a lot - but I seriously doubt it. The BAFA is weird anyway, because the application for innovation funding has changed a few times... There was nothing about that in my conditions - by the way, there are calibrated, tamper-proof intermediate meters (costs about 10 more).
