Yes, I believe that you like it. It also depends somewhat on the house. We also have a grandma in the big house with a large garden. She likes it too. But the property is on a slope, the house has 3 floors, and on each floor there is something important. Grandma is basically climbing stairs all day. I want to avoid that for our retirement home.
Back to the current planning. I’ll raise a specific question. Where "Schlafen" is currently indicated on the upper floor, there will be a study in the future. Where rooms 1 - 3 are indicated in the attic, there should be the master bedroom and two children's bedrooms. At the top part of the plan (which is by the way NNW facing), you see the current stairwell with a door. We will later only really need this door for moving larger pieces of furniture. Nevertheless, a small leftover hallway is marked there. To me, that looks like a dead space. What should I do with it?
One idea would be to tear down the partition wall to room 1 and enlarge that room.
A second question related to that: we would like to have a small dressing area in or adjacent to the master bedroom. Which of the three rooms that will be, is still open. Currently, we have the dressing area realized as three wardrobes in a U-shape in the bedroom. That would also be sufficient. I just don’t see the space for it yet. Maybe it can be connected with the first question and realized in room 1.
What do you think?
