Hello everyone,

I would like to combine a horizontal door at the bottom of a cabinet and two "normal" vertical doors above. For example, a 40 cm and a 60 cm cabinet (80 cm high), with a 100 cm horizontal door at the bottom and a 40 cm and a 60 cm vertical door on top.

I know it looks a bit strange, but I can no longer reach horizontal doors at the very top ...

The nice lady at the furniture store thought about it briefly and said it would work. However, I have my doubts about the swing radius of the horizontal door and whether it might collide with the other doors.

Have a nice Sunday!

No problem, as long as you don’t leave the upper doors open and at the same time want to open the flap fully. Except perhaps with certain handles.

Thank you, Ikea expert. No, the upper doors will rarely be opened, definitely not at the same time.
