Hello everyone,

a quick question regarding the combination of funding programs.
Background:

[*]Single-family house new construction KFW 55 with architect and individual contracts
[*]Financing is approved and already available with KFW 153
[*]BAFA "Heating with renewable energies" with delivery notice for heat pump and maximum amount €50,000 already approved
[*]Among other things, shell construction and development already contracted and hopefully starting next week

Now to the question:
We are currently negotiating with our electrician. We will get a smart home with KNX.
Basically, this is indeed eligible for funding in the new BEG WG.
For the heat pump, we are using the "old" BAFA program. Could we use the "new" BEG program for the individual KNX trade?

Or are there other constellations in which we could still get funding? Since we have already received the funding approval for the old BAFA program Heating with Renewable Energies and that program expired last year, it surely cannot be extended to KNX, right? The full €50,000 are not needed for the heat pump..
Are there any ideas/suggestions/etc.?

Best regards from Northern Hesse

Nils

In principle, you could also include the KNX components in the old funding. When applying, you only had to specify an amount for the system and not what was included in it. In our case, that already included the pump, drilling, KNX at that time. However, BAFA did not know that because it is not asked what the amount consists of. From your description, I understand that you only specified the pump and thus the eligible amount will be too low to include KNX now. This amount can no longer be adjusted upwards afterwards. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you how it looks with the current funding.

In our case, the company specified the maximum amount. So 50,000 € x 35%. This way, we can cover the brine-water heat pump, controlled residential ventilation, and the cooling for the brine-water heat pump through it and stay under 17,500 €. We do not have KNX.

What exactly does that mean? I can't find anything about the new funding. What requirements do I have to meet for this?
