And what do we have then? Unfortunately, I didn’t quite understand what now is a warm roof and what is a cold roof?
For us, the insulated level is our top floor ceiling (with 2 full floors). In the attic itself, there is no insulation between the beams or anywhere on the roof slopes. We have ventilation tiles in the gable and an air gap between the roof and the masonry. So a ventilated, uninsulated attic. I had always referred to this as a cold roof. Is that correct?
