Cold roof - Are roof windows necessary for cross ventilation?

What do you mean by double-layered? The insulation layer is in the intermediate ceiling. The airtightness layer as well. I see the rafters in the attic, the [Rauspund] on the floor, the underlay membrane, the unfinished masonry, and on the sides the insulation wool in the slopes.

I mean the ventilated roof structure, not your [Kehlbalkenlage]...

Are you sure that you all had cold roofs installed? I would be very surprised, because the trend in recent years is increasingly moving towards warm roofs

Difference between cold and warm roof:

We also don’t have ventilation grilles in the eaves because it makes no sense with a warm roof - but many do.

And a warm roof doesn’t mean it’s warm there. I’m not completely satisfied with our construction there and now have to see how we can best solve that.

Since we don't have air vents, it is probably not a cold roof [interesting].
