There are no height differences after all.

Joker. I can see without glasses that the neighbor is at least twenty centimeters lower, and that’s even now, before he levels his property. If he adds soil, the OP has no problem; if he digs away, it becomes much more complicated.

Jokes aside. The foundation of the cobblestone row certainly goes deeper than the current [GOK]. It can’t be built any simpler. If that is the property boundary, the one who builds first has the better cards.

I believe 11 ant is right. This must be discussed with the civil engineer. There is only a minimal difference between us and the neighbors here, just a few centimeters. Nevertheless, no granite stone edge like we usually have, those square granite cubes, but we had to set a real curb edge made of concrete.

So in terms of height, we will be about 10-20 cm higher. One consideration would still be granite lawn edging stones (6x20x100cm), right?

Depending on what the neighbor has planned, it may be possible to help each other and use a supporting concrete foundation for both sides. That’s how we did it with the first house in our row house development. Financially beneficial for both sides and without any potential for property boundary disputes.
