Closing a carport with two curtains as side walls?

The house I want to buy does not have a garage but a very large carport with space for 3 cars. I would like to enclose part of it so I can store my bicycles (and a few garden tools) there without worries. However, I do not want to build a heavy structure, partly because of the costs and partly because the aesthetics would be affected.

Most likely, I am thinking of something like a heavy curtain on two sides (see plan, 2nd image), which must be very stable and weatherproof but can also be dismantled with little residue. The curtain could be opened at the front and could be fixed and locked on the side. Theft protection would probably be very low, but in a small rural town with little crime, this is (hopefully) a minor issue. Also, nothing particularly valuable will be stored there.

Can you give me some advice and ideas? My idea for this project is very vague! Thanks in advance!

Then rather look for fence panels on clearance at the hardware store. It should even be cheaper than a heavy weatherproof and UV-resistant curtain. By the way, the only things that come to mind are [LKW-Plane] or [Sonnensegel]. With the first, I would doubt the aesthetic advantages; with the second, they are probably quite expensive in the size you need. But feel free to look around.

That is a very good idea, thank you. There are quite nice fence panels made of PVC with complete privacy protection and therefore also dust/weather protection. However, I have the problem that the asphalt floor of the carport is sloped because the house is on a hillside. The fence panels would have to be screwed onto a base. What is the best way to do something like that? I do not want the costs to explode, but a few K€ is okay.

There are mounting sleeves for posts. 7x7 or 9x9. At the top of the carport, you can additionally secure the post. Flat connectors or something like that The sections then go from post to post.

There are also tarps for verandas and similar, but I found those relatively expensive. With a simple knife, you should be able to cut open pretty much any tarp. So it's just weather protection. A fence, on the other hand, can perhaps serve as theft protection with the right construction, but offers little weather protection. The question is just what exactly you want.

I know, I am indecisive and a bit confused :) . Ideally, it would be a shed where I can store 2 bicycles, a repair stand, and workshop equipment. That is probably not possible. Everyone has advised me against making major structural changes because the house actually looks very nice as it is and the resale value would decrease. Therefore, it has to be something easily reversible. It can certainly cost a few thousand, but not 50k! I really like the idea with the fence panels!
