Climbing plants on the house - yes or no - experiences?

That is the unfinished attic. Currently just a storage space. And a bat habitat. If it is ever developed, the dormer will be raised and fitted with larger windows. But actually, the numerous square meters in the rest of the house are enough for us ^^

No - but attic rooms specifically designed for air-drying cured sausages, I have actually seen; exactly in such older houses in some southern German regions. Hence my question about the purpose of this windowless dormer, because it does not look to me like a pigeon loft.

And that is wisteria, currently heavily pruned - but it grows back quickly. It can climb on the rope, does not damage walls, and blooms and smells wonderful. Occasionally watch out for downpipes and do not let it grow into the roof.

They hung in the smoke chamber or above the workbench I guess it's a grain floor I have some hanging upstairs.
