Hello Strommann
Well, if the manufacturers say so, it must be true.
I don’t know any of our systems that are cleaned – and all deliver higher yields than forecasted.
As I wrote further above:
(1) with a module tilt of less than 25-30 degrees, I would check whether cleaning might be necessary. With more than 30 degrees, this is definitely not the case, except if
(2) the system is exposed to special dirt – e.g. a farm in the middle of the fields, or a coal power plant as a neighbor.
On the other hand, I should actually advise everyone to have their system cleaned – that supports regional craftsmen and secures some jobs in the solar industry – maybe one should also talk to Mr. Schäuble about whether the invoice for the cleaning can be tax-deductible as a donation for a good cause
Regards
Micha
