YES IT DOES. Because the civil engineer offered you something in the quote that he then saw on the construction site he could never manage. This was also reflected in the no longer findable thread. Ignorance of the trades, because there are also bad actors in the market who first offer cheaply and then only make a profit through such actions.

Maybe one of the older members is reading here and can find the thread. The lady had an ice cream shop and also bought a VW bus/Caddy. The last status was that she had initiated lawsuits against GU1 and expert2 or something like that.

if it were the civil engineer from the general contractor, you would surely already have €30K in additional costs according to your description, just as information. clarify this with your buddy, you will need the civil engineer again for the slope when landscaping the garden
