A civil engineer who charges less than an architect must really need it. Corresponding results can then be expected...

Maybe I'll send a photo sometime - in the meantime, many thanks and all the best!

PS For builders interested in individual planning and excellent technical construction implementation at reasonable prices, I recommend the option mentioned here despite the massive rejection; we took this route after discussions with architects and general contractors and did not regret it. If interested, happy to continue via private message, no further posts from me here.

Since his thread on the basic idea/financial feasibility is from the end of March, I would assume there is nothing yet.

Mamo, we are not opposed to it. You just need to provide some numbers. Because civil engineers, like architects, are bound by the HOAI. Same service, same money. But the civil engineer probably won’t do service phases 1-8, so he may cost less than an architect, but with less service.
That there are architects and civil engineers who violate the HOAI is nothing new though.

So, has the construction pit already been dug or have the contracts just been signed?

Here are some pictures and numbers: 205 sqm living space on 544 sqm plot / move-in Nov 18 / I am happy to discuss budget and costs in a private message. However, I stick to my original statement that it is significantly cheaper and more effective to work with a well-connected civil engineer = cost control also clearly given 3 months before moving in and all goals met. Best regards and see you soon
