Hello,
we are planning to build a townhouse in Schleswig-Holstein. However, the development plan only allows a single-story construction (otherwise, only the building height of about 10m is defined). Now, the state building code states:
"A top floor set back from at least one exterior wall of the building or a floor with at least one sloped roof surface is a full floor if it has a height of at least 2.30 m over at least three quarters of the floor area of the floor below."
If we now enlarge the ground floor so that the upper floor has less than 75% of the area of the ground floor, can we then build a townhouse that is considered single-story and has a normal ceiling height of 2.5m?
Thank you very much!
