When? While sleeping? The children enjoy the view much more, as they will spend more time in the room.

Next to the bathroom would be a deal breaker for me. I still go to the toilet late at night or even take a shower.
But children don't go to the toilet every hour during the night.

As mentioned above, a lockable handle is sufficient.
Parking space problem: For a child, a 1.5 meter closet plus bed and dresser is enough... so it is much easier to furnish.

Decide according to the furnishing. 13sqm is enough for the child and -> it is more dangerous if children climb on the windowsill. In this respect, the floor-to-ceiling window fits for little people after all

In short, regards

Hehe. When they are just getting potty trained but in the beginning like every 4 hours and then down to seconds. If the children are very sensitive, you have a problem anyway. But most are not disturbed by some everyday noises. And since it seems to be a new building, the walls should be thick enough that you don’t experience the flushing sound live.

@ TE: go with your feeling. The room layout is not set in stone. The needs also change over time.

Thank you for the ideas and advice. We are still giving it some thought. Sure, you can also change the rooms sometimes, but for the socket positions and such, it would be nice to know which use the room will have most of the time.

Makes it mostly or as far as possible independent of usage. I know it's hard.

Yes, of course - we will have enough sockets and such. But network, for example, not in every corner. And I would like to have a triple socket behind each of the nightstands.
