Children's construction fund - Building permit

I was actually in the middle of applying for the [Kinderbaugeld] when I received a letter stating that there was a problem with the input plan (1 to 1.5 years after the start of construction). I had to resubmit the building application because the architect made a mistake. In the end, I now have a second building permit which, of course, goes beyond the deadline of 31.3.2022. The first building permit is in the exemption procedure and within the KFW deadline > issued before 31.3.2022. Construction was also started with the first permit and was already completed when the problem with the plan was recognized by the district office. The question now is, can I still apply for the [Baukindergeld]?

Didn't an addendum suffice, why is a new building permit absolutely necessary?

It's already over anyway, right? Or did you apply last year?
The deadline for the building permit was, by the way, 31.3.2021.

... you would have had to use a time machine: the start of construction cannot precede the approval for which the submission plan is required. ...

Regarding your question whether/how you can still apply for the Baukindergeld if the architect's fault caused you to effectively miss a deadline, it must be said: no, from the perspective of the funding agency your deadline miss is not remedied by the fact that a third party (from their perspective: your agent) partly caused it. However, your project has remained the same. So you have to credibly demonstrate to the funding agency that this is the case, i.e. that the apparently "new" building application still applies to the project that was submitted on time.

If you fail to do this, you will suffer a financial loss. If you can prove the architect’s substantial fault, their professional liability insurance is your contact for corresponding damages claims.

Just submit the first approved application. If the timing still works out, you set the date before receiving the new letter.
