Changing the floor plan shortly before the building application - house construction becomes more expensive

I am also confused that such a fuss is being made over 22k now. YES, it is money, but within a certain limit. Before I throw away something that was important to me before, I would leave it as it is.

Put the things back in and split the 22K item (15k that was supposed to be saved plus 7k additional cost) 50%.

That is only 11k then.

So I find it more than understandable that people make a fuss about 22000. But for some here, that is apparently pocket money, which is okay, but not for everyone. One should really consider whether one needs to write something like that.

Logically, it is a lot of money. However, one did have certain expectations of the house, and the developer does not seem to be entirely blameless.

Who pays the architect? You or the house building company? Correctly interpreting the development plan – including the preparation of the building application (which should then be the basis of the contract for work) – are services provided by the architect. If the house building company takes this over, they should be held responsible for any mistakes. If you have commissioned and paid for this separately, then you must bear the additional costs and may be able to claim these from your architect in court.
