This is not equivalent to having acquired the right to continue building with another party.



Lawyers can also act as mediators; contentious proceedings can take longer than construction delays.

More precisely: It is his property; he only needs permission from the authorities, i.e., a building permit, to build. It is questionable whether he may use the paid plans elsewhere (probably not; further information should be obtained from a specialist lawyer of trust after studying the contract).

The costs are another matter.

That’s what I meant: the "license" to use the plans. Because if "the foundation slab is already laid," it makes sense to keep the house design.

The permission to use the already existing plans is one thing.

But one should also not forget that the approval planning is still quite far removed from the implementation planning.
