Hello everyone,
we (married) bought my parents' house. Purchase contract from September, payment of the purchase price was on 2.1.2023, now the notary's employee urgently wants the certificate of no-objection for the land registry office.
The tax office tells me: It doesn't exist, as it is not a purchase subject to real estate transfer tax.
The notary's employee tells me: Without the certificate, no transfer at the land registry office.
My question: Is there an equivalent document from the tax office certifying our exemption from the tax? They couldn't tell me at the tax office, the employee didn't know either, and I don't understand why two "professionals" involved with this don't know, although this surely is not an unusual situation...
Do you know? Do I HAVE to actively apply for something anywhere?
