Hi,

what do you think of a ceiling heating system with a cooling function? Does anyone have experience with that? Since [ETW Verkauf] is not an option, I would still be interested in opinions. So far, I only know about underfloor heating in action and can't really imagine much in this regard. Especially concerning operating costs.

Thanks!

As cooling, excellent; as heating, rather a compromise.

In what way? Since the condominium is at the very top, I hope to gain advantages from the apartments below me.

For this reason:

The temperature profile is phase-shifted with respect to humans.

If I interpret this correctly, it falls under classical radiators & underfloor heating. The floor does seem to be warm, but unfortunately there is a slight "cold front" "down below." Is cooling then the only advantage - although I wonder how that works? Actually, there is nothing to suggest that....

The underfloor heating is almost identical to the temperature profile ideal for humans (standing). The ceiling heating, on the other hand, is not at all, since, to put it bluntly, you only get a hot head here.

When cooling, however, the effect is exactly desired there. Warm air is known to rise, gets cooled and falls down again. Thus, you get a cool head.
