Cable for LED strip for staircase lighting

Hello everyone,

I want to implement a stair step lighting.
For this, I have already had an aluminum strip for the LED strip worked into the tread by the staircase builder.
A two-core cable leads to each stair step.
Now I would rather not solder the cable to the pads of the LED strips.
Is there an elegant/simple way to connect the strip to the cable using crimping, etc.?

Google "led stripe connector", first entry (or any other in the list). There are many, often also tool-free options.

Depending on the type of LED strips, there are different clamping variants.

What is supposed to be used? Why is soldering not an option?

The classic clamp connector does not fit into the aluminum profile, or otherwise the frosted glass cover no longer fits into the profile.

I would prefer a plug solution that I can prepare in the workshop and only have to insert into the stair step. Furthermore, it is easier to replace the profiles in the future if one is defective.

Solder any Molex, pin header, or similar, and you're good.
