Because of the heating, you can have cheap grooves milled into the screed and lay the heating loops in them. I would also leave the old heating system in for now; if it works, gas is currently very cheap to operate.

The electrical system should still be okay.

Photovoltaics are a nice hobby at the moment, but financially it’s not worthwhile.

The catch I see is in soundproofing to the neighboring house. There is little you can do about that...
