I think it's crazy that such high fees are charged. Apart from that, despite the high amounts for me, I also make sure not to fall into the “oh, a few euros don’t matter” mindset, because otherwise it quickly adds up.

I will call there and ask. I also think that 30€ is ridiculous in relation to the purchase price, but still I wouldn’t just like to give away 30,40€ because of 1-2 transfers.

Well, that's why the loan interest rate is so nicely low. More service/work simply costs more money. Elsewhere, the service might have been included, but maybe also generally more expensive.

What I'm getting at: All services are somehow calculated somewhere and cost money. One way or another.

Where the product costs nothing, you are the product.

Wow 15€ I'm ripping off Grandma... Notary takes 10€ per copy and has the assistant do it

Such minor costs are part of the incidental purchase costs and should be able to be paid from one's own "petty cash." Anyone who objects to such costs, does not understand that such costs simply exist, gets upset about them, etc., should refrain from acquiring property in any respect.

That's exactly the attitude that is being built upon. 15 euros are and remain 15 euros, regardless of whether it's about a total project of 50 euros or 500000 euros. I would always ask here if it is really necessary and always find that for the service of entering an account number, it's a lot.
