Hello Moppi!! What you say is also correct that this product is easy to work with. But I myself would increase the thickness (Ytong) and build this project to last forever. You don't need to worry about insulation; on the outside you can apply thermal insulation and on the inside drywall or even just plaster, it depends on which W/mK you want. A question for that: do you actually plan to install WC water pipes etc.? Caution is also needed there because of freezing in winter. Best regards

Hi,..

so the water connection comes with PE pipe at a depth of 80 cm. The water meter is installed inside the house. I would then basically come through within the foundation ring. Heating and hot water are mostly run by a propane gas boiler, that's also my plan. I think I will keep it at 10 degrees in winter, mainly because of plants, colors,... and above all, so that the house doesn't cool down. I live only 5 minutes away from the property, my direct neighbor always lives there. So actually nothing could happen there. The whole thing will be installed by another neighbor, who has a master craftsman certificate and is basically the "colony plumber."

That means I can put styrofoam on the Ytong again, then mesh with adhesive and plastic plaster without any mold fungi rotting the stone for me, right?

Regards Moppi

Hello Moppi!! Surely you can install a Styrofoam facade, nowadays it's no problem. I specifically asked you if you plan to include water installation because if you consider all this beforehand and do not skimp on the exterior shell or wall thickness, then you can be sure that you will save yourself a lot of unpleasant issues and heating costs. Best regards.

If the wall thickness is to be that thin and still provide decent insulation, then one could also consider a timber frame construction with cavity insulation. If it is only for weekends, then an "American" construction method would also be sufficient there. With stone, I would rather choose calcium silicate stone. It is not much harder to work with and is somewhat more stable.
