Building permit is available - How to get quotes from construction companies?

The architect's contact with the craft companies alone saved us tens of thousands in the shell construction phase.

tendentially I agree with the previous writers.
If you have absolutely no idea, then go with architect or contractor "turnkey"

BUT, that all companies that send an offer to a private builder are unreliable
is certainly not correct.

No, not that... but with us at least 15% more expensive

How did you guys find out about that?

The structural shell I contributed was 15% more expensive; the retaining wall I brought in was about 40% to 70% more expensive. The structural engineer I mentioned was also 10% more expensive.

That cannot be generally assessed for sure - besides, you haven't completed any work yet, have you?

I would rather wonder why your architect offers such cheap companies and you can't match that - they normally have no relationship with each other.

I only took one company of the architect (window maker) - not intentionally, but it just happened that way.
