Hello,

we are currently facing the choice of building material... We were offered brick and aerated concrete, with no price difference according to the statement, and the company processes both 60/40%. There have always been trends, sometimes more brick, sometimes more aerated concrete.
A single-family house of 140-150 sqm is to be built, KFW40 standard (if it is subsidized, if not 55), monolithic, with central ventilation and air-to-water heat pump. The shell construction is to be done in-house.

I have meanwhile read that aerated concrete insulates somewhat better, while brick is preferable for sound insulation. Even when asking known builders, you get 15 opinions from 10 people. Nearby, a secondary school is being built and a state road runs 300 meters away. I have attached excerpts from the acoustic report in the attachment.

Are there advantages for one product in this constellation or can I basically "flip a coin"?

Thanks for your opinions

Coin toss is possible and you have a person responsible. For [Satteldach (Bild)] my focus would be to have the drywall under the roof built with sound insulation (Rigips board thickness). You sleep upstairs, downstairs in the living area there is hustle and bustle during the day anyway. We have expanded clay bricks, filled, 42cm, and it is quiet in the house

What kind of stones should it be exactly? Filled or unfilled bricks?

Attached...

X = parcel
Orange = state road
Green = new school building - but there is a slope, so I think the building will be max. 1 storey above street level
Blue = schoolyard
Purple = planned construction phase 2 of the new development area
