Hello Frank,
By and large, with your personal view you probably speak for the majority of users; in fact, the situation in the real world is different.
It is planned to make contract law more customer-friendly. Therefore, I do not give up hope that eventually a lobby will form that deals with the area of responsibility of a real estate agent. And when the ladies and gentlemen politicians are at it, they might as well take a closer look at the training of female house sellers ;)
Real estate agents are not among my "friends" in everyday work; unfortunately, it often does not work without them. I could contribute a number of negative examples – "only" from the last 4 weeks; but I’ll refrain from doing so, otherwise I’d just be annoyed the whole Sunday. Unfortunately, I can’t think of any positive examples at the moment...
For the sake of balance, I would like to mention that in my opinion not "only" real estate agents belong to this discussion regarding land sales. Sometimes I believe that the professional title "real estate agent" only happens to appear in connection with land sales. Quite often I notice no difference between private and commercial land sellers.
In the end, negotiations with both are almost identical and at the end of the day often equally expensive ... for a potential buyer ;)
Rhine greetings
I would be interested to know if there are buyers here who have had really good experiences.
