Hello,

I am new here, but I have been reading along for some time. I currently have the problem that I want to buy a Hark wood stove - dependent on room air - from Hark, but no one can say whether this stove passes the Bloßer-Door test. The stove door opens upwards, so it does not close as perfectly as a door with a latch.

Our house is a Kfw 40 house. Does anyone have experience with which types of stoves actually work here?

Note:
Better to make it independent of room air. Saves you a lot during construction.

Hello,

that's exactly the problem. Hark recommended it to us that way. What do I save with room air independent when building? I am building turnkey, so it would not cost me any effort. I will also have Hark handle the installation of the fireplace!

I don't understand the question. The fireplace should be room-air-independent so that no air is drawn from and consumed in the rooms. Otherwise, installing a fireplace and controlled residential ventilation can create a negative pressure in the room, which is why a room-air-independent fireplace is used. This has little to do with saving.

The connection of the fireplace is closed during the BDT.

This has nothing to do with effort, as the fireplace is installed like any other fireplace.

Whether the fireplace is paid for by the homeowner just because you are building turnkey is doubtful, as a fireplace is a special feature. I have never seen a stove in a construction service description.

To what extent the BDT is carried out and what precautions must be taken is the responsibility of the person carrying it out and not yours.

Best regards, Yvonne

Hello,

sorry if I ask again, but I need to clarify this for my understanding.

We have a chimney with an LAS system, so according to the chimney builder, no room air-independent wood stove needs to be installed. However, a Luc Leda Wächter must be installed to measure the pressure. Is that correct so far?

The effort did not relate to the chimney, that is clear, but to the services of the house builder.

Whether a pressure switch must be installed is decided by the district chimney sweep. The builder can or may decide. When installing a room air-independent fireplace, the use of a pressure switch can be omitted, but ultimately it is the decision of the [Bausparvertrag]. You should contact them sometime.

Regards, Yvonne
