It's been a while and without having the documents on hand, I seem to recall that it was part of your contract ;) Rhineland greetings from on the road

At the first test, we were not present either, although we lived right next door. The second was conducted on the day of handover in our presence. Both were parts of the contract. ;) There was also a construction schedule, as well as very good communication. Just ask your [GU].

Good morning,

Could it perhaps be that you are confusing something?

A blower door test no longer makes sense when the house is just before handover; two of them even less so ;)

Rhineland regards

Spoke with the squad leader yesterday, a value of 0.98 was achieved, according to him that is a good value. The required standard apparently is 1.5?

An airtightness test was carried out with us before plastering began (same setup as with the blower door test). The planner walked through the house with the builder and checked everywhere by hand and with a device to see if any drafts could be felt. It was mainly about the windows and the uppermost airtight layer. There will probably be a blower door test again at the end. Wiki says that for low-energy houses the air exchange rate under test conditions (50 Pa pressure difference) is between 1-2 per hour – so your 0.98 / h seems pretty good after all.
