You can read, can't you? What was unclear about this post?

I can, exactly, that's why I said that it was the first proper answer from which one can actually learn something. You have been asked about measurements ten times, and now finally you have written them down. Who among the two of us can't read is questionable ^^

The post said exactly the same thing. A 1cm longer stair tread therefore results in at least 14-16cm length difference at normal floor heights, or 140mm-160mm if you prefer. Be that as it may, is there also something constructive and useful on the topic from your side?

I understand your frustration. The situation is unclear, you say there is a defect, your service provider says there isn’t. Now you want to withhold money for the defect since it can no longer be corrected. At the same time, you don’t want to risk a delay in occupancy. You only have one chance if you reach an agreement with the service provider. Otherwise, he holds the stronger position, you get more and more upset, and happily forget to enjoy living in your new house. Over what? Putting pressure on won’t achieve anything. Now good relationship management throughout the construction period could pay off in hard cash. Doesn’t sound like you had that.

All's well that ends well.
I had my government call instead, they still got a discount and I am now more remorseful, but at least pacified.
