The completion fee is paid. So the contract currently costs nothing, as it is still one without a service charge. And to get 1% interest for a purely conservative investment is already worth a lot in today's times. From the fund's side, the contract can only be terminated in 10 years.

They could at most no longer accept further deposits. Then it just sits there and accrues interest. I would also keep it as a reserve. Who knows if you might need it for the house sometime. [Markise], what kind of garden, lighting, etc.
